Update for Summer 2008

I know it has been such a long time for me to post pics and write, but I can honestly say I don't have much time. I go, go, go with my kids...I need to be on a better routine with the kids, but I love the outdoors and well, they do too. Being a teacher is great, and I have chosen this profession to spend so much time with my kids in the summer--going to the pool, hanging out in our little baby pool and taking walks outside is the life! I do have to get around to reading some YA literature--we will save that for the end of summer. Hope to see more of my family--we had a great vacation in Florida--my mother was able to join us--I think she had a good time. We are aiming to go like every 2 years--I believe this is important--to make these kind of memories with family...Vincent loves his cousins soooo much and his aunts, uncles and grandparents. And Elena too! Aiming for Six Flags a couple of times, the zoo, baptism and Elena's party...AND..taking another class for college credit! Still need to meet up with some old friends for lunch before it gets too late and I have to go back to work! We have enjoyed staying close to Valmeyer for this year's festivities--my father in law, just underwent a major bypass surgery and seems to be recovering nicely. My husband has been spending a lot of time visiting him and it looks like he will be coming home by this week. We love you, pa pa Joe, and can't wait to see you! It was nice spending time with Kim, Kris, Karson, Kayla and Grandma Gloria this past weekend....Vincent loves you guys so much.

I will post some vacation pics soon, until then, here are some Portrait Pics of Vincent--3 years old and Elena--close to 11 months old. They are growing too fast--having so much fun watching them grow and be the best of friends. They have this wonderful dynamic between them. Vincent's latest thing: "What time is it?" "ARe you mad at me?" "I am upset with you--you hurt my feelings!" soooooo dramatic! Elena is crawling everywhere, trying to stand in her highchair, and trying to walk...saying stuff like mama and all kinds of babble and laughing...loves to laugh and is sooo happy and easy going! She, like her brother, loves the wagon and loves to be pulled around in it constantly....see and talk to you all soon...
