Boy, has my little boy grown! I thought these pics turned out great! Vincent is a little over 13 months old here. He is walking everywhere and loves to be out in the sun! He is trying to say chico, bird and plane now. Time flies by soooo fast!

Evenflo Baby Contest

I had heard on the news that there would be a contest held at W. County Mall--Evenflo baby products were looking for a new face to put on their product, so the prize would be a college fund and some Evenflo products as well. I figured we would give it a shot. We were lucky enough to have been interviewed, but during this time, Vincent was pulling my hair as the interviewer was asking me questions about why I think my baby would stand out. We had a blast that day---Vincent loves the mall and running all over the place---he especially loves their playground! For those that do not know, Vincent has been walking for 3 weeks now! June 7th!

Vincent's 1st Haircut!!!

Well, after some nagging from Chris and several other of our family members, I broke down and had Vincent's hair cut for Father's Day! (There were some people that were starting to mistake Vincent for a girl.) I had just resisted so long because I loved his long locks of blonde hair, and it meant that my little boy was growing up. So of course, I did shed some tears. Vincent was a good sport during the clipping of his long baby hairs---he especially enjoyed the fishy smock they put on him. Now he looks like a little preppy boy instead of my little surfer baby! Ha ha!

Summer Is Here!

Vincent loves hanging outside. He loves his little red car, eating outside, and hanging out in his baby pool. We are having a wonderful summer so far and cannot wait to have more BBQs out on our new patio.

The 1st Big Birthday Bash!

We went for an island-beachy theme, but the weather was quite the contrary! Everyone ended up hangin indoors....but we had a blast! Thank you for all that came and brought fun gifts for Vincent--it is much appreciated!

May 10--Vince's Birthday!

On Vincent's real birthday, we just had an intimate dinner at home with a small birthday cake just for Vince. He loves chocolate cake and ate every bite! He really enjoyed the candles! We had a big party for him on Saturday, the 13th!

Ed and Jenn Strathmann's Wedding

We had a wonderful time at Ed and Jenn's wedding on April 29, 2006. Chris is pictured on the far right. Everything was so gorgeous and the reception was fantastic. We are thankful they let us share in their special day. Can't wait to see their Paris pics!

It Has Been A While!!!

Sorry it has been a while since we have updated our blog....just really busy! This picture was taken on Easter--Vincent is 11 months old and loves going for rides in his wagon. It was a gorgeous day, and the Easter Bunny was very generous with gifts for Vincent and all of the other little kiddies!

Getting Ready For the Superbowl

Well, it's that time of the year again--time to gather with friends and family and watch some football! Vincent has been crawling everywhere and has gotten in 3 teeth and the 4th one is coming in too! He is almost 9 months old now and loves to play with everything! We have started to swim too since mid-January, and he loves it! He floats on his back and even tries to go under the water! He knows the words, "kick, kick" and does so on both his tummy and back. He should be swimming by summer!

I Get Into Everything Now!

Vince has been crawling since the end of December and is even trying to walk now. He is now everywhere! It is amazing how fast they grow. He knows the word, "No", but always tries to test me anyhow--he thinks it is funny--and of course, I laugh too!

Some Holiday Pics of Vincent

We had so much fun this Christmas! Vincent enjoyed all of the excitement of opening presents and holiday cheer with family and friends. We were able to catch up with old friends and family. I sang in the choir on Christmas Eve and had to sing a duet during Mass. Well, during this time, Vincent wasn't too happy being away from his mama. After Father John's homily, I had to "rescue" him from Daddy and Abuela Licia (he was crying). So, needless to say, Vincent was able to join the choir for the rest of the Mass. Well, what do you expect? It was midnight mass--way past his bedtime! Yes, he is spoiled! But, we need all of the singers we can get!

Vincent and His Cousins

This picture was taken on Christmas Eve with Devan Katherine (7 years old), William Kent (2 years old) and Madelline Rose (2 years old). We had a great day--Devan sang a neat rap of T'was The Night Before Christmas, Will mowed the lawn with a toy lawnmower, and Madelline enjoyed playing with Vince's toys--all kids were decked out in their holiday attire. Vincent just got a kick out of having all of the kids over to play with! Looking forward to more fun memories in 2006!
